Periods Of Change Event

We are happy to see Growth in our partnership with Futurestars in impacting lives. As we mark Menstrual Hygiene Day today, we (Inspire to Rise & Futurestars Charity) commemorated this day by organizing our first Periods of Change session at the Community 8 Primary School in Tema. 75 girls who have their periods received our “Oblayo Bag” a reusable bag produced by Trashy Bags Africa containing sanitary products including pads and panties. With support from the Tema Metropolitan School Health Education Programme (SHEP) Coordinator, Madam Agartha Adrah, 188 pupils were educated on Menstrual Health and Hygiene and how boys can support girls as they go through this normal biological process.
